Get to know the story and project experience behind Dynamic Resources
What began in a 400-square-foot apartment in 1994 has grown into a global retail design, construction, installation, and maintenance business. More than 32 years later, Dynamic Resources works with retailers, brands, and suppliers to build and support physical spaces around the world.
Since 1994, Dynamic has been providing world-class in-store service solutions for leading retailers, global brands, and suppliers to those brands.
Founder and President Evan Giniger reflects on how Dynamic started:
“How could this little idea for a business that I started in my 400-square-foot apartment, where I changed my home answering machine message to sound like a corporate voicemail, upgraded myself from ‘Apt. 3B’ to ‘Suite 3B’, and worked on a PC with a dial-up modem on my kitchen counter – be 30 years old?!
Those beginnings are almost unrecognizable.
30 years! Just writing that number feels unbelievable and almost impossible.
How could so much time have gone by?”
Dynamic’s teams work across all retail formats, markets, and project stages—from site surveys and local permitting to millwork, construction, installation, logistics, and maintenance.
The Early Days of Dynamic
As Evan explains it, Dynamic got its start when he saw room for improvement in how his retail store displays and fixtures were installed, managed, and maintained.
“My background is in the design and manufacturing of store displays and fixtures. We would have the fixtures manufactured and shipped to the stores and that is where our responsibility would end.
Early on, we were approached by one of our clients, Levi Strauss, to not only supply the fixtures, but to also manage the installation once they arrived at the store. The problem was that quite often the fixtures would end up in the wrong spot, or worse, just sit on the loading dock.
I personally flew out to a few stores to help move the fixtures from the truck to the correct location.
I realized that this was a service that we could sell and charge for and soon we began to market this as a stand-alone business.
Within a year our installation business was double our design/manufacturing business and we pivoted to 100% in-store services. This allowed us to connect with and help all the other manufacturers who were also struggling with this problem and with retailers and brands directly.

When we choose Dynamic, we know we are going to have leadership, ownership and experience.
Here’s to much continued success in the future.”
More Than 32 Years of Experience, Shown in the Work
These projects show how Dynamic Resources applies design development, construction, technical coordination, fabrication, and installation experience to very different retail environments.
Parfums de Marly: Coordinating a Detailed Luxury Boutique
For Parfums de Marly’s Madison Avenue boutique, Dynamic worked with the brand’s Dubai-based millworker to deliver its new store concept in New York. The scope included local architecture, engineering, permitting, the full store build, millwork, an LED tile screen installation, and shipping support for a plaster replica of the Château de Marly.
The store combined traditional luxury details—including mouldings, parquet floors, and gilded finishes—with hidden screens and a VR headset. Delivering those elements together required coordination across the design, construction, technology, and installation work.

Aesop: Building Around Materials and Brand Standards
Dynamic completed construction for Aesop’s first high street store in collaboration with the brand and fine-furniture maker Sebastian Cox. The work included demolition, HVAC supply and installation, plumbing, mechanical and electrical work, custom framework, a basement fit-out, limestone flooring, and material sourcing.
This project demonstrates the practical coordination required to protect a distinct design approach. Materials, building systems, construction details, and brand standards all had to work together in the finished space.

LN-CC: Delivering an Unconventional Retail Environment
The work on LN-CC’s east London store involved procurement and construction. Dynamic managed design development, approvals, a full renovation, and the production of unusual millwork and other custom features. The finished environment included the store’s octagonal tunnel entrance and a programmable LED-lit club room.
The project shows how retail construction experience supports spaces that do not follow a standard formula. Distinctive design features still depend on buildable details, approvals, material procurement, technical coordination, and careful on-site execution.

It’s All About the People at Dynamic
Dynamic’s project experience depends on the people planning the work, solving problems, and carrying the details through on-site. As Scott Bernstein, Executive Vice President of Dynamic, says:
“At Dynamic, we believe that treating people the right way is not just a principle—it’s the foundation of our culture.
In an ever-evolving industry, our commitment to ethics guides every decision we make, from our interactions with clients to our relationships with employees and our resources.”
In 2021, Dynamic became an employee-owned company through an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP). Each team member has a stake in the company’s success, reinforcing a culture of responsibility, collaboration, and pride in the work.
“We believe that when people are empowered, they are motivated to go above and beyond, ensuring that our clients receive the highest level of service,” says Scott.
The team’s experience has been built project by project and relationship by relationship. Evan credits the people who contributed along the way:
“We would not exist in any form without the dedication, wisdom, creativity, attention, loyalty, and old-fashioned sweat of the hundreds of people we have met along the way. All of them are part of our story, and all of them deserve credit and thanks.”

Building on More Than 32 Years of Dynamic
Dynamic’s services have continued to develop in response to client needs. The business grew from assembly and installation into retail design and installation, including window displays, graphics, branding, fixtures, millwork, digital and outdoor signage, construction, logistics, and maintenance.
The scope may be broader today, but the original lesson remains the same: a retail project succeeds when the physical details are managed from planning through installation.
“What a fantastic journey it has been, and I could not have ever imagined or wished for a better life,” says Evan.
